Our journey · 2017 – 2026
Since its founding in 2016, ICCI has carried out, year after year, concrete actions in education, protection and empowerment — as close as possible to the most vulnerable families.
Doing a lot with little
Where others would have waited for large funding, ICCI mobilized what it had: the volunteer commitment of its members, members' dues and the support of friends, local businesses, partner churches and the diaspora. More than 6,350 beneficiaries, in over a dozen localities.
Bible education, civics and learning games, hot meals and gift boxes, up to the children's graduation ceremonies.
Literacy and basic education sessions, with an introduction to small trades (cooking-baking, sewing).
Technical training in sewing and provision of machines for young people exposed to gang activity, so they can earn a living from their trade with dignity.
Distribution of food rations, blankets, mosquito nets and clothing to the most vulnerable households.
Keeping first-cycle children in school after the end of the "Education For All" program threatened them with dropping out.
Continuous support for schooling, from preschool to lower secondary, thanks to sponsorship and family contributions.
Provision of uniforms and school supplies, from preschool to first-cycle basic education.
Savings and credit groups, savings passbooks and the training of 10 facilitators, combined with Bible teaching in rural areas.
Training and support for evangelical leaders to multiply impact within communities.
And tomorrow
This field experience, deep knowledge of the communities and the loyalty of our partners form the foundation of the 2026-2028 relaunch. Building on these achievements, ICCI now intends to structure and scale up its action.
